The Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship (CF-MGS) for the academic year 2023-24 is now open for international students. The scholarship is available for students pursuing Masters’s level programs in all subjects offered at Monash University. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 31, 2023.
The Co-Funded Monash Graduate Scholarships are a collaboration between Monash University and the enrolling department and are designed to help international students who are enrolled in Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees with their living expenses while studying at Monash University.
Monash University is offering scholarships to both international and domestic students who are studying at the university in Australia. The aim of these scholarships is to promote diversity at Monash University and provide financial support to deserving students.
Scholarship Benefits:
The CF-MGS provides:
- a living allowance (stipend), and
- a relocation allowance, if eligible.
There are a number of tuition scholarships available for our international students that can be packaged with this stipend.
Requirements Criteria for Scholarship:
You must be one of the following:
- An International student
You must meet the following criteria:
- meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process requirements and
- meet Monash’s English language proficiency requirements.
This scholarship is also available to students undertaking Joint Research Awards when Monash University is the home institution.
How to Apply for Scholarship:
The process for applying for graduate research scholarships is done simultaneously with the application for the course. This applies to both new and current students. The application for both admission and scholarships is done through the school’s Applicant Portal, and there’s no need to specify which scholarship you are applying for as the system considers you for all available graduate research scholarships that you are eligible for.
