Requirements Criteria for Scholarship:
You must fulfil the precise standards established by the national funding bodies in order to be eligible for national funding. These can include restrictions on your country, place of residence, degree and the date it was awarded. Please visit the information page of each applicable funding authority for a summary of the details regarding funding conditions, eligibility requirements, and application guidelines.
In the EUI online application form, you will be asked to select at least one and up to three funding options: Only indicate those for which you have a valid reason to believe you are eligible and for which you wish to apply. If you are eligible for more than one funding programme, you will be considered for admission under each programme; in case of admission, you will receive funding from one programme only, based on the decision taken by the EUI selection committee and communicated to you on the admission offer.
With the following exceptions: Greece, Portugal, and Slovenia, the application for admission to the EUI doctorate programme is automatically an application for national funding. If you request money from one of these nations, the EUI will ONLY consider your proposal if you submit a separate, required application.
