The University of Kent is offering the MBA SME Entrepreneur and Innovator Scholarship for the year 2023, which is available to international students. This scholarship is aimed at students pursuing a Masters’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Kent. The deadline for submitting the scholarship application is May 31, 2023.
The Kent Business School is pleased to announce that it is offering two scholarships for the SME Entrepreneur & Innovator program. These scholarships are available to students pursuing an MBA and will cover 25% of the tuition fees.
To qualify for the MBA SME Entrepreneur and Innovator Scholarship for 2023, candidates must have owned and run a thriving local business for a minimum of five years. Furthermore, they should be interested in expanding their enterprise and contributing to developing their local economy.
Scholarship beneficiaries are required to advance entrepreneurship by planning an event or undertaking a project in collaboration with the MBA Team. Additionally, they are expected to serve as student ambassadors and aid in recruiting new students for the MBA program.
After graduating, scholarship recipients will become alumni ambassadors and assist in organizing alumni events and recruitment activities in their home country.

To be eligible candidates must:
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have operated their own local business or organization for a minimum of five years. Additionally, they must possess a UK First Class degree (or equivalent international qualification) or have significant managerial work experience. Furthermore, candidates must be self-funded.
Applicants are required to submit a statement of motivation that is at least 500 words long, outlining why they should be considered for the scholarship award. This statement should demonstrate the applicant’s entrepreneurial background and dedication to fostering regional economic growth.
The Scholarship Awarding Committee will evaluate all applications and make the scholarship awards based on their assessment. Successful candidates will be notified within one week of the panel meeting.

To be considered for the MBA SME Entrepreneur and Innovator Scholarship, applicants must first submit an official application to study in the MBA program at Kent Business School and receive a formal offer for admission in September 2023.
